Capital Programme Manager (Ref: CA0541B)
Salary: PO3 £35,953 - £44,892 per annum (plus 20% Market Premia)
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Gun Wharf
Medway Council is embarking on an exciting and challenging school capital programme which you will be responsible for developing and implementing. You will lead on the delivery of all of Medway's school capital projects, including three new Academies and our Primary Strategy for Change. You will be a source of expert advice for all of our capital projects and will enjoy a varied and stimulating role which allows you to stretch your capabilities.
You will have previous experience of planning, programming, commissioning and monitoring large value and/or complex construction projects, ideally within a Children?s Services environment.
You will have excellent communication, analysis, negotiation, influencing and planning skills as well as financial acumen and robust programme management experience.
You will share our passion and commitment to deliver our vision for 21st Century schools and the council?s priority of Children and young people having the best start in life.
