Job description
Responsible for ensuring that the commercial management functions of the contract are carried out effectively and in accordance with company procedures, ensuring that liabilities to the company are mitigates and the insurance of contract compliance.

Essential

- ARCIS / FRICS qualified or equivalent
- Degree ideally in surveying, financial or legal disciplines
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of maximising financial returns
- Exceptional commercial awareness
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Confident in working at a senior level and have a strong desire ro develop the business
- Ability to work under pressure and to demanding timescales


Desirable

- Proven track record in quantity surveying / commercial management
- Contractual and risk management of the contract
- Monitoring, progressing and certification of sub contractor accounts
- Scheduling and evaluation of contract variations
- Overseeing monthly invoice to client in terms of content. Ensuring full recovery and variations
- Monitoring of core service caps and other budgets to ensure no overspend or approval of increased budgets
-  Liaison with members of the contract management team, including the Finance Manager over report production and monitoring of costs against budget
- Procurement of sub-contract services and material supplies and placement of contract documents and orders
- Provide general advise to the management team about the client
- Establishment and maintenance of professional working relationships with the Client with regards to all financial matters
- Support the preparation of annual budgets in line with company procedures and timescales
- This is a key position in the management team of the contract and the job holder will have the opportunity to contribute substantially to the overall project performance
- Dispute resolution  to demonstrate recent experience in a service or facilities management organisation
