THE POSITION
? Devise and drive through strategy to optimise performance of all aspects of the Estate?s business.
? Identify and exploit new business opportunities. Develop compelling investment plans maximising ROI.
? Lead and motivate team, developing their potential and performance, enhancing skills and management processes.
? Promote and protect longer term interests of the business. Liaise with external professionals, regulators and government bodies as required.
THE CANDIDATE
? Energetic, hands on business all rounder with a strong record in business leadership allied to rigorous financial and strategic skills. Past exposure to retail, leisure or hospitality industries an advantage.
? Bright and intuitive entrepreneur with a sound education and, ideally, relevant professional qualification.
? Empathy and affinity with the rural environment. Experience of working in a multi-site and diverse business advantageous.
? Developed interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills. Personality and character to engage and impress at all levels.
